Welcome. Giant is a bike brand well known for their mountain bikes. They were founded in 1971 by a japanese man by the name of King Liu. His eel farming business had just been destroyed by a typhoon, and as a result he and his friends together raised $100,000 and founded Giant, their first factory being located outside of the port city of Taichung in Taiwan.
